Lucknam Park

Spending a day or two away from the hustle and bustle of London is one of my favourite things to do. I am a city girl, but underneath it all, lies a country girl. I can't tell you how giddy i get when I know I'm going on a road trip to the countryside. Rain or shine it lifts my spirits. Even if I don't have the time to stay, a day trip somewhere just puts a huge smile on my face and reboots my system.

Yesterday I discovered the beauty of Lucknam Park. Food was delicious, the setting was beautiful, the good weather was a bonus! The brasserie, where I ate, has a menu created by Michelin Star Chef Hywel Jones, but is a more casual setting than their main restaurant.
