Shake Shack... well the American in me feels at home with this place! Proper ice cream, aka "Concrete", which is frozen custard, and the lemonade taste I remember from my grandparents home back in Springfield MA. You can't go wrong with pickles, relish and celery salt... and of course that cheese... oh wow.
Another plus is that some of the concretes come with Paul A. Young chocolate... which is probably one of my favourite chocolatiers. (Blog post featuring Paul A. Young chocolates to come soon...).
I'm not a huge fancy burger kinda girl.. I fall in love with basic, "a burger is a burger" burger! The less made up it looks, and the more greasy it looks... the better ;p. Yum.
Byron Burger Wholey Cow Event
This was held at Camden Town Brewery, and was invited by a friend to go! I thank her greatly for this invite as my day of "meatery" got even better!! Now I'm not really a drinker... but we were offered a little taster of their special Bloody Mary so of course I had a little sip...! What was interesting however, was that it had beef stock in it, which actually made it incredibly tasty. It was very subtle, not too overpowering. I always love something that isn't obvious when it comes to food. The weirder the better!
All in all a great day of food :).
